Graham Johnson and colleagues’ video placed first in the 2011 International Science and Engineering Visualization Challenge, hosted by Science Magazine and the U.S National Science Foundation. The video features a method of simplifying cell shapes and organelles into a digestible 3D presentation that facilitates comparisons between types of cells or between cells that have been exposed to different experimental conditions.
