Human Conflict Special Issue
Conflicts between states are on the decline, but that downswing in violence is opposed by an upswing in intra-state violence, conflict within nations. New research has exposed that some of these conflicts that were once considered economic are actually ethnic in nature and vice versa, suggesting that a better understanding of these areas of friction might prevent violence.
